Powerlifting & Strength Gym in London – Strength Hub E15

Powerlifting and weightlifting gym in LondonStrength Hub E15 is a strength gym in West Ham, London E15. We are a small friendly gym with an emphasis on coaching and community.

We are equipped for powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, strongman, strength training and fitness.

Strength Ambassadors offers a mix of classes, personal training and open gym membership. We run regular club competitions, workshops, and social events.

Getting Started in Strength Training

If you are just getting started in strength training, we have a range of classes to help you learn correct technique and meet like-minded people. Beginners usually start by booking an Intro workshop. Those with lifting experience who would like to access coaching, please contact us to let us know your experience and arrange a visit.

If you are already a keen lifter, and you are looking for a place to train, gym memberships and gym drop-ins are available. If you want to drop in for a session, check the timetable below and book a slot in advance. Advance booking is essential; you cannot just turn up and train.

The gym is a 5 minute walk from West Ham station, which is served by the Jubilee line, District line, Hammersmith & City line, C2C train services and the DLR.

Gym opening hours for Open Gym

We are open on weekday evenings and weekend mornings for open gym.

Monday: 5 pm-8.30 pm

Tuesday: 5 pm-8.30 pm

Wednesday: 5 pm-8.30 pm

Thursday: 5 pm-8.30 pm

Friday: 5 pm-8 pm

Saturday: 9.30 am – 1 pm

Sunday: 9.30 am – 1 pm

Olympic Weightlifting and Strongman in Open Gym

Due to the nature of the space, we offer limited access to do olympic weightlifting and strongman during open gym. These sports must be done in the downstairs area only outside of class times, as follows:

Monday: 5 pm-7 pm

Tuesday: 5 pm-6.30 pm

Wednesday: 5 pm-6.30 pm

Thursday: 5 pm-6.30 pm

Friday: 5 pm-7 pm

Saturday: not currently available

Sunday: first Sunday of the month only, 1pm-3pm

Memberships

We have two categories of membership: class memberships and gym memberships. To purchase a membership, please go to the Memberships page.

For gym membership, we offer the following:

Open Gym Membership is our access to Open Gym. Members of SportsHub teams are eligible for discounted membership. Please contact us using the form below if you are a member of a team using SportsHub. Please note that we run classes at peak times, which have priority over space and equipment.

Individualised programming is our coaching service for gym members. This includes an individualised training program, a private session with a coach once a month, and open gym membership.

Drop-ins are £10 per session. Book a single drop-in for Open Gym by going to our gym calendar and clicking on the Open Gym session you want to attend. Please note that when we are running classes, not all space and equipment will be available to Open Gym users.

ALL classes are suitable for all levels of experience, including new starters, beginners, improvers and those wanting to compete. We run different levels of program side by side, so there is a place for everyone.

Olympic bars 20kg, women’s weightlifting bars 15kg, trap bars, olympic lifting technique bars.

Various strongman equipment, including tyres, atlas stones, yokes, logs, prowlers, farmers walk handles, giant dumbbell, kegs, axle, sandbags (see Strongman page for full equipment list).
