Olympic Weightlifting Training Classes In London

Learn and improve your lifting technique in the snatch and clean & jerk. We have a range of Olympic Weightlifting workshops, classes and personal training to suit levels from complete beginner to intermediate to advanced competitive weightlifter.

Our expert coaches will guide you through the fundamentals of movement and technique, helping you to build a strong and technically sound Olympic lifting practice.

In addition to our regular workshops and classes, we also offer personal training for those who want to take their Olympic weightlifting to the next level. Our personal trainers are all experienced weightlifters themselves, so they know exactly what it takes to help you reach your goals.

About Our Olympic Weightlifting Classes

Learn the key movements and improve your confidence!

Whether you are someone who is completely new to the Olympic lifts, or have done them before but lack confidence that you are practising the proper technique or if you are looking for regular coaching and programming to dramatically improve your numbers and feel confident in your technique, our Olympic Weightlifting classes are for everyone!

In an Olympic lifting class, you will learn the key movement patterns, proper form, and techniques of the Olympic lifts from an Olympic weightlifting coach and get plenty of practice in a safe and supportive environment.

This is the option for you if:

  • You want to learn how to successfully perform the Olympic lifts from scratch
  • You want to be sure you are doing the lifts safely and correctly.
  • You want to improve your technique and/or increase your strength in the Olympic lifts
  • You feel “stuck” at a particular weight or have plateaued in your progress.

Our Olympic Lifting courses led by experienced trainers will provide you with all the tools you need to achieve your lifting goals.

If you are a beginner then you’ll need to take our beginners courses to learn the basic Olympic Lifts.

What Is Involved In a Olympic Weightlifting Class?

You will work on olympic weightlifting technique, strength, power and muscle conditioning.

Classes are programmed and led by an experienced coach. We start with technique drills, move onto the classical lifts and finish with strength work and/or a muscular conditioning circuit.

We hold our own club competitions as well as taking our lifters to competitions around the region. It’s not compulsory but everyone who tries competitive weightlifting has a great time, even if they are a little nervous!

Crossfitters are welcome! If you are already doing the Olympic lifts and want to improve, then this is the right class for you.
