Olympic Lifting classes are designed for lifters who have done a beginners course and learned basic technique, and who now need a regular class to dramatically improve their numbers and feel confident in their technique.
So what is involved in a typical class?
You will work on weightlifting skill, strength, power and muscle conditioning.
Classes consist of a planned workout of the day, led by an experienced coach. Every class includes at least one snatch variation and one clean & jerk variation. We start with technique drills, move onto the classical lifts and finish with strength work and/or a muscular conditioning circuit.
You will also get access to the 3-day-per-week training programme so that you can make progress faster between classes.
We hold a club competition twice a year, which is a fun introduction to the sport of competitive weightlifting. It’s not compulsory but everyone who tries it has a great time, even if they are a little nervous!
If you have learned the olympic lifts from another olympic lifting instructor and you are interested in the ongoing classes but you have not done our Beginners course, please contact us to inquire what is the best option for you.
Crossfitters are welcome if you have already done a foundation course in olympic lifting.

The gym is a 5 minute walk from West Ham station (Jubilee, Hammersmith & City, District, DLR and National Rail from Fenchurch Street). Free car parking is also available.
Olympic Lifting class has both a monthly membership option and a Class Pack option.
