Workshops

To join our classes, you need a knowledge of the basics in each key lift. Therefore if you are new to weight training, you will need to complete an Intro workshop before joining regular classes.

If you have some experience, but lack confidence or feel your knowledge is not complete, it’s always best to take an Intro workshop before joining classes. You’ll be far more confident in class if you have completed the workshop.

We offer the following Intro workshops:

Intro to Powerlifting (squat, bench press, deadlift)

This workshop is the recommended Intro for Building Strength classes and Ladies Who Lift classes. Ideal for improving strength, posture and confidence with weight training. Will help tone up and build muscle.

Intro to Olympic Weightlifting (snatch, clean & jerk)

This workshop is the recommended Intro for Olympic Weightlifting classes. Great for improving technique, strength, mobility and explosive power.

Intro to Strongman (tyres, stones, log, sleds etc)

This workshop is the recommended Intro for strongman classes.

Great for improving functional strength. Recommended for those who have done some strength training and want to take on a new challenge.
