The Ladies Who Lift Beginners Workshop is for you!
On the Beginners Workshop, you will
- get to try lifting weights for yourself, taught in an easy, step-by-step process
- learn the basic principles of strength training, and receive a beginner’s training program to get you started
- you’ll also receive the Ladies Who Lift Handbook, containing all the information you need to feel confident in the gym!
Working with us, you’ll discover why strength training is one of the best things you can do for your long term health, and how much fun it is to lift weights and feel strong!
Think you are ‘not sporty enough’ or ‘too old’? You’re not! We’ll show you that it’s never too late to start enjoying the benefits of increased strength, and how you can succeed in lifting weights even if you are not the ‘sporty’ type.
We hold our Beginners Workshops on a Sunday from 10am-1pm. It’s £47 to attend.
You don’t need any previous experience of lifting weights and you certainly don’t have to be super fit or strong to take part. Just bring a willingness to have a go, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What is Ladies Who Lift?
Ladies Who Lift is our regular class for women who want to learn to lift weights and become stronger. We started in 2011 and have been going from strength to strength ever since! We welcome everyone from beginners to experienced lifters.
